Is that work email valid? Or is it a low quality personal email like gmail.com? Or perhaps a super high value email domain like, say, agent.ai?
Use this agent to verify if a given work-domain email is valid. If it's not a work domain, we'll classify it accordingly. The agent will output one of the following 10 categories for the email:
Valid work email
Catchall domain
Invalid email
Not an email
Domain does not exist
Cannot determine
Free mailbox
Student email
Group alias
Disposable mailbox
Notes:
- Many domains (especially enterprises) are "catch-all", meaning it's impossible to verify a specific email without, like, being in an email thread with said person. So, this email verifier won't be able to confirm those emails. But, generally, if the domain is catch-all, that means it passed the DNS check and is a real, owned domain.
- Group alias accounts for emails like 'sales@' , 'feedback@', etc. These are removed from the validation check.
- Student emails come from a list of 15k international university and US high school domains, as well as anything with '.edu'. These are removed from the validation check.
- Free mailbox includes gmail, yahoo, etc. These are removed from the validation check.
- Disposable mailboxes are a type of free mailbox, but have a much lower chance of being someone's personal email for daily use. These are removed from the validation check.
